What Nurasol is and is not

Shadow work can be a powerful complement to professional support. Many people do their deepest healing when they have both. We want to be honest with you about what Nurasol offers and where its boundaries are.

Nurasol is
A Jungian shadow work platform for personal growth and integration
A space for reflection, journaling, somatic practice, and community
Led by a trained facilitator with deep expertise in shadow work and yoga therapy
A complement to professional therapeutic support
A community for people doing the work of knowing themselves more fully
Nurasol is not
A substitute for professional mental health treatment or therapy
A crisis service or emergency support line
A diagnostic or clinical tool
A replacement for psychiatric care or medication management
Appropriate as the sole support for active trauma, psychosis, or severe mental illness

A note from Sanaa

Shadow work asks you to turn toward the parts of yourself that have been in the dark. That is courageous work. And some of what lives in the dark needs more than a platform to hold it safely. It needs a trained professional, a therapist, a psychiatrist, a doctor, someone who can be present with you in real time and offer the kind of individualized clinical support that no course, program, or community can replace.

If you are in therapy, I encourage you to bring your shadow work into that space. If you are not in therapy and you feel that you need more support than Nurasol can offer, I hope you will reach out to a professional. There is no shame in needing more. There is only wisdom in knowing what you need and going to get it.

You deserve the level of care that matches what you are carrying. Please do not let this work be a substitute for that.

If you are not sure whether you are in crisis, it is always better to reach out than to wait. The resources above are staffed by people who want to hear from you. You do not need to be in the worst moment of your life to deserve support.
